Soren has practiced immigration and nationality law since 2002, successfully assisting hundreds of people from around the world on their applications for U.S. visas, permanent residency and citizenship. He has also represented immigrants in removal (deportation) proceedings before the Immigration Court, the Board of Immigration Appeals, and the federal courts.
Soren is bilingual in English and Spanish and conversant in Mandarin, French, Italian & Portuguese. He graduated from Yale University and the University of Washington School of Law. Before opening his own firm, Soren worked for the Northwest Immigrant Rights Project for nine years, first as a staff attorney and then as the directing attorney of the office in Granger, WA. He lives in Yakima with his wife, three children, and two dogs, George and Louie.
Evelyn has been a receptionist and legal assistant at Rottman Immigration Law since January, 2022. She grew up in Yakima, graduated from A.C. Davis High School, and takes classes at Yakima Valley College. Evelyn is bilingual in English and Spanish. She looks forward to assisting you when you call or visit our office!
